Gulnaav

Artisan Craftsmanship: A flower boat, carved from solid wood. The Gulnaav features a dramatic elongated elliptical form, tapering to two sharp points like a petal caught mid-flight, its ivory exterior hand-printed in Kantha-inspired folk florals. Amber sunflowers on slender stems, scattered stitch-dot motifs, and sage leaves repeat across the surface in a continuous botanical rhythm. Raw warm walnut grain lines the interior. A companion decorative ball in warm terracotta, covered in precise geometric white inlay, completes the set. Two objects, one language.

Design Focused: Gulnaav, where Gul (flower) meets Naav (boat). The name carries the entire design. Kantha's ancient stitch tradition, born in Bengal, worn close to the body, translated into an amber and ivory botanical print that wraps a solid wood ellipse. Raw walnut within, folk art without. The companion terracotta ball grounds the set in geometric white inlay, precise where the vessel is organic, still where the vessel moves.

Functionality Focused: Wide and generous enough for fruit, bread, snacks, or a curated still life. The elliptical form creates a natural cradle, nothing slides, nothing tips, everything settles as if placed with intention. Off the table, a sculptural centrepiece that arranges itself. The decorative ball anchors it wherever it lands.

Durable & Sustainable: High-density solid wood construction with Kantha-inspired print sealed under a premium finish, every amber bloom, stitch-dot, and sage leaf protected against daily handling, moisture, and time. Warm walnut interior sealed for food-safe use. Companion ball finished in sealed geometric inlay built to last as long as the vessel beside it.

Easy Care & Ready to Use: Simply wipe with a clean, soft cloth.
